Yet, Your Word promises that if any of us lacks wisdom, we need only ask of You, and You will give it to us generously, without finding fault. So we humbly come before Your throne of grace, seeking the discernment that can only come from Your Holy Spirit. Grant us eyes to see beyond the surface of things, and ears to hear the still, small voice of Your Spirit. Empower us to recognize the promptings of Your Spirit, and to walk in the path You have set before us, even when it means going against the tide of popular opinion. May our lives be a testament to the transformative power of Your wisdom, that others may be drawn to the light of Your love.

We recognize that in our own strength, we are powerless to fulfill the great commission You have given us. But Your Word promises that when the Holy Spirit comes upon us, we will receive power to be Your witnesses, both in our local communities and to the furthest corners of the earth.
Fill us, we pray, with the power of Your Spirit, that we may boldly proclaim the good news of Your salvation, unhindered by the fear or the wisdom of this world. Embolden us with Your love, that we may reach the lost and hurting with compassion and grace. Grant us the sound mind of Christ, that we may discern Your will and walk in obedience, even when the path is difficult. May our lives be a living testimony to the transformative power of Your Spirit, that the world may see and glorify Your name.
